I am an advisor and subject matter expert in Identity and Access Management (IAM). I provide strategic guidance to organizations, leaders, and professionals on architecting, implementing, and maturing their IAM programs, including program strategy, governance, risk management. I also provide expertise on Identity and Access Management Governance (IGA) which spans the full IAM lifecycle, access recertifications and role management, as well as Identity Threat Detection and Response (ITDR), Customer/Citizen Identity (CIAM), and Identity Visibility and Intelligence Platforms (IVIP).

Previous experience

I bring extensive, hands-on leadership in Identity and Access Management (IAM), with a proven track record heading Global IAM Operations for a major international financial institution. In this capacity, I was responsible for defining and executing IAM strategy, leading geographically distributed teams, and ensuring the secure, efficient delivery of IAM services at scale. My role required deep expertise in operational excellence, regulatory compliance, risk management, and stakeholder engagement across diverse business units and regions. Beyond financial services, I have provided specialized IAM consulting to a regional healthcare insurance provider, addressing sector-specific challenges such as regulatory mandates, patient privacy, and secure interoperability. This included research and delivered presentations at prominent industry forums, including H-ISAC and the Blues Association, where I advised on identity’s critical role in healthcare interoperability and security. Additionally, I founded and chaired an IAM Working Group in upstate New York, fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing among regional IAM professionals.
