Sally Parker is a Senior Director Analyst in Gartner's global Data and Analytics team. Her coverage areas include Master Data Management (MDM), Data & Analytics Strategy, Data Governance, and Data-Driven Culture. Across these areas she helps clients draw, and communicate, a direct line of sight between 'data' and business outcomes.
Following her passion for all things data-driven, Ms. Parker rejoined the analyst community in 2018 after a 2 year sabbatical with Gartners Executive Programs - supporting Gartners CIO/CDO clients in a 1-1 capacity with their daily challenges.
Prior to joining Gartner, Ms. Parker was Research Director Cloud and Data-Driven Intelligence at IDC and a regular keynote speaker on digital transformation and emerging technologies. Previous technology and product management roles with Red Hat USA, and DEC-Compaq-HP in Europe, USA and Asia-Pacific provided a solid technology foundation for the predominantly business and people-oriented challenges clients raise in todays coverage areas.
