Theresa Beebe

Sr Director Analyst

Theresa Beebe is Senior Director, Analyst in Gartner's Healthcare Technology & AI Markets within High Tech & Invest (HTI). She advises healthcare technology and services vendors on product strategy, positioning, and go-to-market execution across provider and payer markets, with a focus on technologies that deliver measurable clinical, operational, and financial outcomes.

Having owned and delivered clinical and operational outcomes critical to the C-suite—including throughput, revenue capture, workforce stability, and clinical quality—Theresa brings an operator’s lens to her research and advisory work. She evaluates technology not as an isolated capability, but as a lever within complex, interdependent healthcare systems, mirroring how executive buyers assess value, risk, and trade-offs across the enterprise.

Theresa’s coverage emphasizes how data, interoperability, analytics, and AI-enabled workflow automation can be operationalized at scale within real-world healthcare and payer environments. She helps vendors understand where technology meaningfully changes execution versus where adoption, workflow friction, governance, or organizational constraints limit impact.

Her work is particularly focused on aligning product strategy and messaging with buyer decision dynamics, implementation realities, and enterprise architecture dependencies.

Through research, advisory interactions, and client engagements, Theresa helps vendors sharpen roadmap priorities, strengthen market positioning, and anticipate how healthcare executives evaluate technology investments in increasingly complex and regulated operating environments.

Previous experience

Prior to joining Gartner, Theresa held senior leadership roles across the healthcare ecosystem as a clinician, operator, entrepreneur, and commercial leader. She began her career as an emergency nurse and later served as a multi-site ER Director for HCA, where she was accountable for clinical quality, workforce performance, throughput, and financial results. She has led initiatives delivering over $100M+ in compliant revenue capture, significantly reduced nurse turnover, and improved operational efficiency across clinical and supply chain functions.

Theresa has also evaluated and implemented healthcare technology as a buyer, co-founded and operated a healthcare services business, and led enterprise product strategy and go-to-market efforts for Infor's healthcare ERP solutions. This combination of buyer, builder, and seller experience informs her pragmatic perspective on implementation feasibility, adoption risk, and commercial messaging.

As a former U.S. Army Nurse Corps Captain and decorated combat veteran, Theresa brings a disciplined, mission-driven approach to research and advisory work, bridging frontline clinical realities with executive strategy and vendor execution.
