Congratulations to Vodacom, winner of the 2023 Supply Chain Award for Social Impact.
Together with UNICEF and the African Vaccine Acquisition Task Team (AVATT), Vodacom Foundation and Vodacom launched a vaccine cold storage and distribution solution in Africa with a donation of about $4.4 million. It took internal supply chain expertise to procure, coordinate and track the successful delivery of equipment to more than 500 vaccination sites, as well as a dedicated control tower.
