Patrick Hevesi is a Vice President Analyst with Gartner for Technical Professionals (GTP) on the Security, Identity and Risk team. He provides critical guidance to CISOs, security architects and managers for more than 400 enterprises annually. Patrick is leading the new Cybersecurity Mesh Architecture(CSMA) topic and vision for the new way of defending against cyberwarfare. His other current security topics include mobile (OS and MTD), cloud (CASB), collaboration (O365) and overall cybersecurity strategy and architecture. He is well known for his deep technical knowledge and problem-solving skills to help organizations defend against the everchanging threat landscape. Patrick is the current Conference Chair for the Gartner US Security Summit as well as a key speaker at Gartner events worldwide. He is well published in both Gartner and leading industry publications such as WSJ, IDG, ZDNet, SearchSecurity, Computerworld as well as numerous security vendor blogs. Patrick has more than 20 years of experience in information security, with roles including CISO, security architect and competitive security lead.
