Drew Tanenbaum helps General Counsel become more effective organizational and functional leaders. He has been a trusted advisor to hundreds of legal leaders, supporting them on a range of priorities including managing ESG strategies and reporting, assessing and improving board processes and corporate governance practices, managing director lifecycle events (e.g., evaluations, training), advising on governance trends, improving risk escalation and reporting, improving regulatory intelligence, and enhancing their roles as key organizational leaders.
In addition to advising individual clients, Drew has led numerous multi-client events and facilitated team discussions on topics such as effective personal leadership, ESG, M&A, business partnership, risk alignment and legal department transformation. He also steers Gartner's signature research initiatives for legal leaders and leads multi-client sessions during which he helps clients apply best practice solutions to some of their most pressing challenges.
Prior to joining Gartner, Drew worked as in-house counsel at PayPal and Citigroup, advising business partners on consumer protection, transactional, and product matters. Before moving in-house, he was an attorney at two large, national law firms working on M&A, commercial and public financing transactions, and corporate legal matters.
