Climate change is constantly disrupting supply chains. Seventy-two percent of CSCOs recognize climate change impacts on supply chain strategy, particularly the impact of environmental disruptions.
But 11% of CSCOs don’t see it as a risk and are reluctant to invest in risk monitoring, scenario modeling and climate change response.
It’s important that CSCOs implement both short- and long-term supply chain and organizational strategies to respond to climate change impacts and mitigate potential disruption.
