Pierfrancesco (Pier) Manenti is a Research Vice President in the CSCO Strategies and Planning Team. He provides insights and advisory support to Chief Supply Chain Officers (CSCOs) and Head of Strategy of global manufacturing and retail corporations into the future trends and key challenges affecting end-to-end supply chain strategy. He focuses on strategic transformation, digitalization, agility and design for profitability. He has over 25 years of experience in supply chain strategy.
Previous experience
Prior to joining Gartner through the SCM World acquisition, Mr. Manenti served as Head of EMEA at IDC Manufacturing Insights, where he led the EMEA research practice and was the global lead for the Operations Technology Strategies advisory service.
He also spent 13 years with TXT e-solutions, a global supply chain planning software vendor - part of which is now called Aptos - where he held roles and responsibilities including Industry Manager for Automotive, Business Development Director for Manufacturing Industries and U.K. Operations Director.
Before that, he spent two years at the Italian Ministry of Defense.
