Simon Bailey is a Research Vice President in Gartner's Supply Chain CSCO Enablers and Industries team. His research coverage focuses on helping clients develop their strategy in areas including customer centricity and ecosystems orchestration.
He is also the lead author of the Gartner Supply Chain Top 25 and has many insights into the practices that help differentiate the world's leading Supply Chains. He also is lead author for Gartner's Supply Chain Strategy Predicts which gathers together Gartner Expert's views on key opportunities and risks that will be facing CSCOs in 3 to 5 years time.
Prior to joining Gartner in 2016, Mr. Bailey was Head of Global Customer Service COE for Unilever leading the development of their customer service capability focusing on e-commerce, international retailers, order-to-cash and on-shelf availability. His career spans over 30 years working in Factories and Head Offices, locally, regionally and globally as an Engineer, Manufacturing Leader, Strategy Director, local and regional Planning, Logistics and Customer Service Director, and Global Head of Customer Service COE.
