Wan Fui Chan is a Managing Vice President for the Data Governance and MDM Team within the IT Role-Based Products Group. His team guides D&A Leaders on Data Governance, Data Strategy, Data Integration and MDM initiatives.
Prior to Gartner, Mr. Chan has delivered projects and products within local government, telecommunications, insurance, third-sector organizations and finance. His portfolio of work has taken him across the U.K., North America and South Africa where he has delivered business benefits to end users.
Mr. Chan's core area of expertise covers agile adoption, transitioning from projects to product, application strategy/rationalization, technical debt, product management, scrum and Kanban.
Prior to his current role, Mr. Chan was a Product Manager within J.P. Morgan's Markets Execution division. He utilized digital products to disrupt the marketplace and ensure that clients are working as efficiently as possible. He developed best-in-class innovative solutions that meet current market needs and are flexible for future demands. The main product he managed helped drive $5 billion in traded volume over a 14-month period.
