Submissions are allowed from education institutions only. Submissions can include partnership projects but must be submitted by the education institution. Submissions are not eligible from technology vendors or technology services companies. Any such submissions will be disqualified. Eligible institutions can enter up to five submissions per year.
To be eligible, an initiative must have been launched during the period of January 1, 2025, through May 15, 2026. Only submissions written in English will be accepted. The project or initiative could be in any stage of development, from a pilot to already launched as a product/service. However, note that Gartner’s assessment framework weighs more favorably those projects that are already delivering tangible benefits and results (both qualitative and quantitative).
The awards are open to both Gartner clients and non-clients alike. There are no participation fees.
