Evgeny Mirolyubov is a Senior Director Analyst in the Endpoint and Workspace Security team, researching endpoint protection products and technologies. Specifically, he is responsible for endpoint protection platforms (EPP), endpoint detection and response (EDR), extended detection and response (XDR), identity threat detection and response (ITDR), as well as automated security control assessment (ASCA) technologies.
Evgeny uses his technical background to help Gartner clients improve their security posture, protect against malware and ransomware attacks, implement endpoint protection best practices, and make strategic technology investments. Evgeny's experience in consulting, technical sales, and product management, overlaid with his experience working with organizations in Europe, Asia, and North America, offers a valuable perspective to support the needs of Gartner clients.
Before joining Gartner, Mr. Mirolyubov was a Technical Solutions Architect within Cisco's Security Operations practice, responsible for technical sales, technical marketing, and sales enablement activities. He conducted client and partner workshops, led in-depth product evaluations, and prepared product messaging. Mr. Mirolyubov was also responsible for gathering and analyzing worldwide customer requirements to provide actionable insights to Cisco's product management team to help drive product improvement and growth.
