Cloud-native security operations will push the limits of automation and expand response options with AI assistance in addressing cloud-native threats. Product leaders must invest in enabling technologies such as generative AI and automated moving target defense to thrive.
The rapid rate of change of cloud-native application deployment, from development to production, will extend security operations (SecOps) use cases to the engineering development ecosystem. These environments incorporateAI-assisted capabilities to detect threats, enabling response options within the cloud infrastructure and application context.
Generative AI (GenAI) capabilities with effective reinforcement learning from human feedback (RLHF) will enhance SecOps automation. For cloud-native environments, policy as code (PaC) and infrastructure as code (IaC) implementations can benefit from policy and code generation to accelerate automation use cases.
