Sarah deLiefde is a Group Vice President in Gartner's Research & Advisory group, responsible for leading the Supply Chain practice. She leads a global team in delivering insight, innovative tools, and advice for Chief Supply Chain Officers, Chief Procurement Office and leaders in Supply Chain, Planning, Sourcing & Procurement, Manufacturing, Logistics, Quality, Sustainability, and R&D.
Prior to leading the Supply Chain practice, Sarah was a Practice Vice President and led teams responsible for creating research, innovative tools, and advice for Supply Chain leaders. Prior to her role as PVP, Sarah held several Supply Chain Research & Advisory leadership roles with responsibility for establishing and scaling Peer & Practitioner Research (PPR) and Quantitative Analytics & Digital Innovation capabilities. She also previously served as the Supply Chain Chief of Research, with responsibility for setting research strategy and providing thought leadership on major initiatives.
Sarah joined Gartner following the company's acquisition of CEB in 2017; she joined CEB in June 2012. At CEB, Sarah spent 5+ years researching and advising on the needs of Quality Leaders, with a heavy focus on culture of quality, strategy development and talent management. Through research and advisory consultations, Sarah engaged, taught and helped companies bring best practices to their organizations.
