Generative Pretrained Transformer 4 (GPT-4)
GPT-4 is a powerful large language model (LLM) with generative AI capabilities developed by OpenAI. GPT-4 uses a transformer model architecture to predict the next token (a part of a word). It was trained on large amounts of public and some private data, and the model was fine-tuned using reinforcement learning with human feedback (RLHF). The key new or improved capabilities in GPT-4 include the ability to support image and text inputs, as well as support for longer forms of input and output.
